How can you know it is always 10% inaccurate? Do you measure everything twice using this and another scale? Interesting!

Sorry to hear you are disappointed with Le Creuset because it wasn't made in a country you approve of. Are you overracting? Well, saying you feel betrayed and mislead due to where the product is made is a surprising reation, in my opinion.

If you feel the product quality isn't up to standard, then I suggest you return it. However, I have a number of items from Le Creuset, including a kettle, and feel the quality is excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to buy Le Creuset again.

Hi Andrea, I've bought the kettle (sand color), and indeed it boils water, and indeed it looks good, however I was horrified to see that the product was in fact made in Thailand. I mean the whole reason why I bought this overpriced kitchen gadget was that I was sold on the authenticity of the Le Creuset brand. Well, strike that! If I wanted made in China I would have gone to Walmart, not Williams Sonoma... Anyways I felt that the marketing there was misleading and felt betrayed by the brand. I'll hold on to my LC Dutch Oven but that's all I'll ever get from them! What's your take on this one? Am I overreacting?

We got one of these and found that it was always 10% inaccurate. Seems ridiculously inaccurate for such a basic product.

Hello –

Just wanted to touch base about the new Bosch-produced TASSIMO Hot Beverage System, which offers a wide range of hot beverage treats, including coffee, tea, real milk cappuccino and latte, espresso, crema, and hot chocolate.

We are extending an invitation to the kitchen gadget/gizmo blogger community to get a sneak peek at the new brewer at a gathering at Rockefeller Center in New York City. Would a representative of Kitchen Elixir be available the afternoon of July 17th? TASSIMO is hosting a demonstration and discussion of the new machine during “Kitchen of the Year,” an event which will showcase the latest innovations in food and beverage technology, kitchen trends, and home entertaining. We are also extending invitations to representatives of Bosch and Starbucks® to join us.

Please advise of availability. We would love to provide Kitchen Elixir with an in-depth introduction to the new machine.

Thanks,
