Another thing for lettuce which I don't get is the salad spinner. Is your lettuce getting so wet that you then need to spin it dry? Kinda weird if you ask me.

I kinda like my salad spinner. It dries the salad leaves so the oil (from the salad dressing) will stick to it better. Ya know, oil and water don't mix and all that.

I use a salad spinner!! It's one gadget i use weekly. Tear up the lettuce, wash it in the colander, stick it in the spinner and spin spin spin. You'll be amazed at how much water it spins out! I love it!

I actually wished i had one like this instead. The one i have is the zyliss pictured where you gotta pull a chord (kinda like starting the old school lawn mowers)
